MECHANICAL QUESTION:

Misfire issue:

Replaced the plugs/wires and fuel filter all within the last year. What would still cause a misfire!? She like'* premium, but can't afford to do that every week! I already have a car that makes me do that!

Misfire can be caused by excessively rich mixture, like during warmup with the choke on, and unburned fuel igniting on the wrong stroke.

I like the chrome around your wheel openings

Did you notice any loss of torque or braking reduction when you went to the taller tires :?:

Anyway I can change the gas/air mixture?

Yeah, chrome will come off one of these days.... Kinda afraid too though, don't want to take the paint off in the process....

No noticable loss of torque, I have weak *** 3.55 gears to begin with I actually have seen that it takes longer to stop, but I have adjusted my driving habits to it *Knock on wood*

Are you carburated or throttle body injection....or port injection?? I don't know Fords.

No I mean I really like your chrome. Don't remove it.

Those are good gears...the same I am running in my Jeep but with 28" 245 width tires, I can break them loose anywhere in 1st gear 2WD........on a wet road.

Wow, Jon, the exploder is lookin' pretty good! And honestly, you're throwin' money away when you put premium in it. You don't have near the compression ratio to justify it.

I'm diggin' the light bar and wheel/tire combo, looks good! And about the misfire, you done a tune up lately?

Nice! here'* what i'd suggest..

Ditch the chrome except the bumpers (just tacky on those IMO).
Ditch the Blacked out headlights (i see you've done that)
Get some cool grille
Get a roof system (you've done that, but yakima is where my is)
Get some fender flares?

That'* why you either wheel with a buddy following in his rig, .....or have a wife like mine there'* not too much I can't fix on my Jeep with her help. Hell, just the other week she changed a balljoint, wheel hub, and did the rear brakes herself.
