Default Preimpregnated

Inspired by this thread.

Here is what a $2000 shoe looks like. (I'm not talking about the $40 set of Adidas in the pictures)

Its part of an experimental project from a company that develops new products for the US Military....They are starting to make prosthetic legs and just started making carbon fiber AFO braces.

The brace is preimpregnated carbon fiber, Its special in a way I forget what they said, but it is 30 times stronger than the traditional material Polyethylene......

I'm testing the brace out, AND my insurance company gets to pay for most of it I'm only left with a minimal bill like 10% or something + a copay charge

It all sounds snazzy...The point is I CAN WALK AGAIN

No. It is not safe to use the brake pedal with it.

I can use the gas better now though

I need some SSEi badges for it or some stickers.

Its hard to explain how it works but carbon fiber retains its energy naturally, so when I walk the foot snaps back to the correct position by itself, vs before I would just trip on the foot.

Apparently you never saw him drive BEFORE the accident.

Good to see you are up and around again Hans..... This has been a pretty quick recovery.
