Default Possible new ride...

Went to pick up my pay check today, and on the way back, I spotted something interesting... a 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III for $5k... Took a look at it, a little worn on the paint, but from what I can see, there'* not much rust or any other wear... I'm going to look at it in the morning, will put pics up then... Anyone aware of any common problems on these or anything?

It'* not a ford, it'* a lincoln, which means it'* a ford but the parts cost three times as much.

the mark III was the top of the line lincoln for that year. i know they were pretty well loaded up, but leather, power seats(one of the earliest vehicles to offer power seats), power windows and doors, and a standard AM receiver (availiable w/8-track or cb radio). they had a ford 460 under the hood, correct?

I arrive... at 10:15 AM. They open at 10 sharp. The car was sold in those 15 minutes! Just my luck. :-\

Dude, that sucks. Do you know, though, if it had the 390 in it?
