i think i found my car...everything works on the trofeo, cept a A/C leak somewhere, but i'm friends with mechanics (in the car club). the a/c was also retrofitted to the new system too its got 104-105k miles, runs and drives great, new calipers and rotors 1.5 years ago, has all the options except sunroof and VIC, hes never had a major problem with it and the oil and coolant flushes have been regular...

he said $1800 but negotiable since its been for sale for awhile.

EDIT: he said theres only one small rust spot, and he'* willing to sell between 1300-1500...going to look at it tomarr and barring any major problems i'm gonna buy it.

and its a 2 door, sweet...
Trofeos are cool little (big) cars.

massive doors though + EGRless, oh well.

everything looks reasonable, but be wary of the early Northstars... Any chance you could find a '96 instead of a '95 'rora?

... and the Caddy likely has the 4.9L or 4.1L V8? If so, apparently those things are head gasket monsters, they love to not only blow their head gaskets, but actually strip the threads out of the block instead of stretching the head bolts (which is what'* supposed to happen). If that'* the case, the block is junk

Among your list, I'd look at the '95 Regal, Bonneville, and '94 Olds Delta Royale, personally. Taurus ONLY if it'* a 3.0L, and the tranny is still fresh.

Jason says Trofeo. Sweet cars, and touch screens rock. Especially 1989 ones.

it desnt have the VIC or a sunroof. I'd rather not have the computer thing, i've heard its hard to navigate it quickly...and its a 92...

Personally, I'd go for the Cierra. But that may be just bias to the newer year.

You've got to think about parts costs and they go like a dip, high at 0 years old, high at 15 years old, low in the middle.
