Default Poor Wal-Mart

http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/08/15/D8JGVU680.html

stocks are down because they only had 2.08 bil of net income, not 2.81bil they were expecting

Chief Executive Lee Scott said he was "quite honestly disappointed by the sales performance of Wal-Mart U.*."

Why should they be disappointed.

They're killing all of the other small retailers around here. My fiancee works for one of the other nationwide "small" retailers and her sales are usually down from this time last year.

The difference in profit pretty much directly relates to the sale of their Germany stores for a loss.

Income != profit

Investing all comes down to ROI, and walmart'* had it'* course i think, they're expanding too much. We're getting a new regional distribution center in Mankato here for some reason.

Wal Mart falls in the realm of a "coporate box". Nuff said.
