A friend'* great grandma recently past away. She collected coins and left in her will all her coin collection in her name. One coin that she came upon was this one. It seems to be a General Motors Pontiac coin?! Here are some pics.
This side says "Product of General Motors" with a wreath going around most of it:

THis side says "Pontiac" on the top. There'* and Indian chief head in the middle and on the bottoom it says "Chief of the Sixes"

I believe it was a Native American "thing" so to speak, cant remember if it was a tribe or person or ritual.... There were also Bonneville motorcycles

It'* clearly a GM/Pontiac coin from John'* comments. 'the sixes' might be a clue to what it was referring to.

The indian was a trademark of Pontiac for years, which is where the 'Star Chief' came from in 1956. The following year, the car was re-badged and named "Bonneville".

The name Pontiac came from a Native American tribe whose territory centered around what is today the Detroit, Michigan area. More than likely, the coin is from a promotional collection produced to commemorate various NA tribes.

I don't really think this is very 'Indian' related as much as it is a GM thing. Bonneville is also a Native American name, which is one of the reasons it was chosen as the follow-on name to the Star Chief. A minor reason next to the reputation of the salt flats speed records, but a link, nonetheless.
