Check my post about it. I can't get it smaller, or it would be WAY too small, way below 500x250, and unreadable. CarDomain won't let me make it the right size, because it always blows it up to 575x whatever, or it keeps it as a thumbnail, which is really small. If you want me to take it off, I will. I asked for suggestions about an alternative to CarDomain, but no one got back to me. I tried ImageStation, they suck too. So, what do I do?

Photoshop to edit your pic, we have to be mindful of dial up users, its file size that bugs me most, any combination of 125 000 pixels (area) is fine by me.

Thank you so much for looking out for us 56Kers. my connection is only 2.5 KBPS so it takes forever to load even a 100 KB picture! When there are so many large pictures it really makes browsing the forum difficult. Gotta have a limit somewhere.

Jeez, the adventures never end... Says I can only register from 10AM-2PM or 10PM-2AM. Great site. Well, we'll see how it goes after I register, but until I can register, is it alright if I keep this pic as my sig? And none of you have answered my poll! lol, come on, rate it independent of the technical considerations, at least

Your sig image is 22.48KB his is 14.8KB. Just thought I'd point that out :P
You should be preaching optimizing images for the web, and not resampling.
Jim, here'* yours optimized to 11.68KB
And here'* Kyle'* at 10.67KB
Almost no noticeable difference with either.

12..11 whatever, dial up can handle that, its an issue that got out of hand, we set the rules, 35 kb MAX, and in the range of 500x250 or any combination of 125 000 pixels.
DONE.
