For those of us in the colder states, there has been a lot of ice and snow. There have been WAY too many accidents lately. I'm a volunteer firefighter and some of the stuff I have seen lately will be burned in my memory forever.

Please be careful guys. I would hate to hear about this happening to one of you guys, or, God forbid, come pull you out of it.

Thank you, Christine. Well said. I saw a couple bad ones this weekend, and it'* not even cold here any more.

It'* great that you're brave enough to do that kind of job. ( I once passed out on the phone with the vet because one of our cats had ripped out her stitches after being fixed and was bleeding from the wound, so I'm pretty sure that I couldn't deal with the kind of things you're probably dealing with). We hear about this kind of stuff on the news all the time. Stuff that'* out of our control is bad enough...but in terms of what'* within our control, let'* all do our best to make the jobs of people like Christine just a little less difficult.
