I'll bet it spent some time sitting underneath a pine tree. My grandmother'* neighbor had a Pacer sitting under a pine, and the needles piled up around the roof rack, then covered the entire roof. Well, until all the water retained by the needles rusted the roof out until the mass of rusty pine needle glop dropped into the interior.

that engine is a 258 cu inches AMC 6 cyl and its been around a lot acar ans later it was fuel injected and was made smaller at 4 litres .at the time the was clifford research that made 4 barrel intake for them and cam maybe they still do

Yes, they do. BUt that isn't the engine mine has, I've got the 151 Iron Duke. Wasn't that used in some Bonnevilles?

oh i see yeah that a pontiac 4 they made speed stuff for that to that 4 as the same bore and stroke as the 302 v8 chevy z28 .i know those engine were noisy when the got high millage they sound almost like a diesel

Ummmm.....No. Bonnevilles have never had an engine that small. The 3800 is the smallest ever used. V8'* (including Diesel) and V6'* only.

Wikipedia cross references the H platform at the bottom of that article. That doesn't seem right. Wonder if they meant to reference A or W platform...

Wikipedia is notoriously inaccurate and incorrect. It depends on who puts the information in.

The H body never saw anything smaller than a 3800.
