Default Photoshop Help

Alright guys this is going to sound stupid but I know a lot of you guys use photoshop. I use ps7 at school on a g5. At home I have a PC, and just got PS7 for my own use. I was making a sig, and came across a slight problem. I cant resize images. I checked the help section and it didn't say. On the macs, the borders of the images are highlighted automatically, click and drag the center to move the image around, and click on the dotted border to resize. On this computer, I can't get the dotted edges to show up. Any one know what'* up?

If you want to change the size of a layer in your sig,
select the arrow on the left panel, then click "edit" then "free transform"

with that youll be able to move and change the size of the selected layer. (layer are displayed on lower right panel by default.

If you want to change the size of actual image (the complete pic)
then go in "image" and then "image size" and there you change it like you want.

I have Photoshop 8 cs but thats probably the same thing.

Hope this help

Wow, thats strange :? look like a plugins/filter problem.

Had you tried to reinstall it?

may be it could solve the problem

other than that, its may be a bad color setting in photoshop. :?
