Default PHOTOS OF BLACKOUT

I finally got my power back!

I took some pictures last night and this afternoon of the blackout around my town.

Go here to see em:

I apologize for the blurriness of some pics. It was very dark, and hard to focus.

But I'm sure glad it'* over.

Blackout was good times! lol

I went out for a cruise in the pitch black, in my pitch black bonne! It was so neat, you couldn't see any buildings, or street lights. Just the outline of the roads. All you could see ahead of you was the short distance your headlights would light up. And as soon as you hit the high beams all the signage would explode in a triumphant explosion of light.

I kinda wanted it too last longer, if we had some means of protecting or food stuffs.

It was a very eerie night, that'* for sure.

I was riding my bike up and down the side of the road, and I was just hoping that the cars would see me.

city people never cease to amaze me...we have a blackout here every day as soon as the sun sets.if you wanna go walkin around outside wtihout lights you forced to use ambient light from the moon and starts to see,ur hands to make sure u dont get stabbed in the eye but twigs and stuff(walkin around in the woods is fun till that happens).

another city ppl story: me and my dad are drivin down a country road and theres this truck stopped, we stop thinkin he havin trouble, he comes walkin around the side of the truck with a camera and point it up in a tree where 4 buzzards are happily perched. my dad goes "takin a picture of the buzzards are ya?" the guy in complete disbelief goes "buzzards? no those are turkeys,4 of em" my dad was like "ooooh i see" then he gets in and goes drive!!!!(i was driving)
