At this moment, the tranny since it'* not cheap, and ball joints. I'll be replacing those soon though.

One good thing - I was talking to a guy I know who works at a trans shop, and he said not too many 4T65E'* come into the shop.

I have a younger sister who is always worried about the heat shields rattling out of place. :? That is a smaller fix than a flat tire.

for me probably trans...i wonder sometimes....

then i would say having an accident...i have checked and rear quarters and such are NOT CHEAP and i dont have alot of insurance....i need to keep my car alive....i think i would go into hiding if my car got totalled...you would not see me or hear from me for a couple years...

But a collision is not a mechanical issue.

If it helps, look into getting your collision deductable lowered to $50 or whatever your policy allows. If you have a lot of mods, you may be at a loss.
That is why I do not dump a lot of unnecessary money into my car.

tranny issues concern me, but dont frighten me... blowing another motor cuz of a rocker spring would sure suck
