Update:

Personal worst - 25 MPG (second fill up today). I only used a quarter of the last tank, the previous owners used the first half. So a lot of this tank was me trying to learn a manual.

Worst: 12ish

Best: 1998 Plymouth Neon: 28 mpg.
Worst: 1983 Chevrolet Silverado 3/4 ton Camper Special 4x4:....this'll make you flinch....8mpg on a REALLY good day.

Was that 29 all hwy?

I have had friends with the Quad 4 do about 35 on the open road... One did this on a trip from here to Dothan Alabama... Not bad...

And you don't have a lot of miles sooo... Hmmmm

Plugs should have a 100,000 mile change interval...
Yeah, 29 was mostly highway. I think it'* up to 57,000 miles, so plugs should be good. But you do have to take into account how much of a fan I am of my accelerator (I don't drive that overly fast, I just like to get up to speed quickly)....

we currently have road construction pretty much all the way from home to work right now, and speed limit is 55... i averaged 37mpg on the way home today
