I run a stock cooler on my AMD 3800+ dual core, and it runs extremely cool.

Well my system is a P4 3.4 Extreme Edition system with 2 gigs of ram. I had a heat pipe cpu cooler and my system put off enough heat warm my room. Water cooling has changd that. I dont overclock my systems...just wanted cooler and quieter running thats all.

I used bottled water instead of distilled so I hope that does not cause a major problem down the line.

distilled water does not harm electronic components nearly as much, or even at all in some cases, because it does not contain the minerals that other types of water contain, its not the water that conducts electricity, its the minerals in it.

But really what you do to keep it from coroiding you put about 20% green anti freeze in with the mix, works really good.

The kit came with some green mixture to pour in before the water. Must be working cause my system used to be at 55C and now its at 32C
