Default Pc Speakers

I just bought these off of Newegg.com I've had the logitech z560s for 2-3years now and the only good thing about them was the massive bass, the treble sucked and the whole midrange was muddy IMO. But the sub died and I want better SQ so those Klipsch speakers should sound amazing with my Audigy 2 ZS . Anyone have these speakers? I can't wait for them to get here!!

Well klipsch are known for their tweeters, so you probably made a good decision. Make sure and give us some feedback when they come.

Yes...Z-5500s are the best speakers out for the PC. I think they were the DREAM machine speakers of choice for Maximum PC for like 3 years in a row and thay have some wicked built in Hardware DSP effects.

Let us know how the once you bought sound.

For sure, I probably won't have them up to loud anyway since my room isn't that large & these speakers sit so close to me there is no need in cranking them up much. Just got home and checked my e-mail to find a UPS tracking # They are in EDISON, NJ right now so I'm guessing I'll have them Wed
