A win for Freedom & Privacy rights in Canada.

The study, released Tuesday, found that downloading had no impact on sales of CDs in recent years.

In the United States, the recording industry has sued 1,977 people since launching its assault against illegal file-sharers last fall. It has reached out-of-court settlements in around 400 cases.
....my condolences to our American buddies. ......not that it will stop you guys.

They're all crapy, only some are more crappy than others. I guess thats what the Judge thought, how can they say you 'didnt pay' for the download? DId they ever use the service? OF course you pay with all kinds of troubles and pop ups, trojans, etc.
If I like the song I buy the cd. The rest is just noise on my computer like listening to the radio?
