It will probably be the bonnevillefest. If most of you all would come out and I get my members to come, we would pretty much shut the town down

Darn right Cowboy, couldn't have said it better myself. We had an excellent showing of classic 87-91 Bonnies. Urban Cowboys' 90 SSE, BlackBonEvil89 and his pristine SSE, Mike G and his unique retrofitted SSE and SpoTTs' RLD the 89SE. We even did a classic sound off and Rogue will be posting the mpeg of that We had 3 92-99 models, Rawfusions amazing SE, Tams and Gone Hollywood and Mr DrugRunner himself. We had 3 2000+ models as well, Todd (Rogue), Kendra and mini-Rogue in the black SSEi, Drifter was lucky to cruze in Tamaras' Crime of the Century and of course the Live Free or Die couple making the scene in Aeraeik (a white 2000+ SSEi). It was very cool to see the 2000'* with the same super sexi chrome rims....wow!!!

Oh and of course sse1990 (Mike and Renee) in the 03 Malibu and there was an Aurora in there somewhere too .

Many many thanks to all that made the journey, it was great to see the support. We get a bit bigger and better each time, so lets up the ante and do this again next summer.

Perhaps next year we can add my SSE to the mix

Great turn out of the bonnies. Special thanks to Jim for taking the role of organizing the entire day. ( I know he was overloaded with so many things... including the new Aurora )

I have much R&D to do in the bonne forums cause I wasn’t able to hold a technical conversation with some of you guys! (SSE and SSEi stuff like that.) lol. (First official day on the scene! I'm sure I will be caught up to speed surfing the boards.)

Props to (edit) Peter for the nice engine work you have done since I last saw it at D&B.

A little funny story b4 I cap my thread here. This morning I'm showing my father the RLD. I unlock the doors via the starter remote and then manually started the engine. I pop the hood to show him the goods. I then close the door and sure enough the remote starter has automatic locking doors after starting the car. &*#$&*Q(*@#$*(!!! I said to myself. lol

So there we are standing looking at the bonny thinking. "****... the car is running and the keys are inside with the doors locked!" greaaat!

So I called CAA for them to come over and slim-jim the doors open. Waited on the phone for like 10 minutes and no representative came on... So my next option was to call Jim for the spare set (which at that time I didn’t know if he had any)

Sure enough he did... I go racing over there and then racing back to open the doors! whoaaa! Yea so that was my morning! :?

Any how thanks again Jim for the eventful day. My allergies were killing be but I somehow pulled through.

Lol, well that'* definetly a good way to have a first day owning the bonnie, on tour and such. ALthough locking the keys in it, on one of the first chances you get isn't good...

This past 4th of July my roomate had a huge vibration, so he pulled over, and check his tires, which he knew were bad. Left the car running, He went back for his pressure gauge, and when he went back to get in the doors were locked. This is a 2k Cavi, and i guess they are lock happy. He walked 3 miles to the nearest gas station, called his mom (cell was in the car) and started walking back. He got locked out around 1 am about 4 min from home. His mom didn't tell him about the severe storm warnings and when he got back it was raining a little, so he got under an overhang. Well the wind kept picking up, and then the tornado sirens went off. His car was running for almost 2 hours WITH the A/C on, it was nice and fogged up on that hot july night. His mom did take a while. Finally got home @ 3:30-3:45 am...

Paul, we have much to discuss about the car before I leave her in your most capable hands. I'm just glad you brought her back for the evening. Someone was very interested in seeing my old car.

No complaints here. Glad everyone made it, and I look forward to the next one. Who'* up for a Syracuse meet next summer? Give Jim some time off eh.
