same here. I could care less if they know where I am or how fast I get there. I like my OnStar features, I like the fact the price remains the same after 6 years. I like the respect and service they have given me with the few questions I've had. I didn't understand the pricing/fee'* for the 100 minute a month deal. I called and they took off the fee'* FCC charges I wasn't told about and gave me 3 months free service for the misunderstanding. I like OnStar. If they get make a few bucks off knowing I went to Wally and it took me 19 instead of 26 minutes and keep me @ $18.95/month..... whatever.

Where I live now, I don't really care. When I move, I will care.

Anyway, I don't have to worry about it. I took it out of the Bonne anyway a long time ago just because. The truck doesn't have it at all.

Love my hands free phone, have had it unlocked 3 times, and used it several times to notify police of accidents and send a stranded car help. It gives me peace of mind the rare times the wife has to use it. I guess if I was running around town selling crack out of the trunk I would care. LOL.

2) I don't lock my keys in my car (But I'm not old like you )
3) I would use my cell phone to notify the cops if I saw something.


It doesn't matter what I'm doing, legal or not legal. NOBODY has the right to spy on me. It'* the same as not giving cops the go ahead to search my car. Yeah, I have nothing to hide, but the 4th amendment is there for a reason.

Bingo. That is the critical feature that makes OnStar worthwhile. The USA is changing, safety and security levels are rising. A new trend is to jump in front of a woman driven vehicle and take her jewelry. OnStar is the quickest action of any. I know many will say the quickest action is to floor the accelerator or pull a sidearm. Those are not always seamless courses of action, but the Onstar is.
