[quote="MOS95B"]I tried it on the wat to work this morning (wide, empty road). I can't drive an automatic with 2 feet!! My left foot only knows the clutch. I could not get the trick of feathering the brake right. Letting off was fine, but my left foot only knows one speed going down, all the way, fast

hey you drive with your left foot how in the hell do you do that or was that a typo that was ment to be right foot

Is it possible to be right handed/footed to the point of being a handicap??
You've proven it'* possible.

Actually..after having a standard shift for years..and trying to two foot one day (forget why?) you really have to retrain your left to feather. Feather like you might a clutch in the winter..but that'* coming up..not applying pressure down.

Right foot gas, left foot brake. Every time I tried to use the brake with my left foot, I hit it way too hard. I can take off from a stop using my left foot on the brake, but stopping just don't feel right. Like I said, my left foot is trained that it is to be used for a clutch only.

Day to day driving in the Bonne I drive one footed (left foot is for ebrake).

Only time my left foot touches the brake while I'm driving is if I'm feathering the brakes so I can keep my RPMs up through a turn (At the track that is).

In the Jeep or my Sterling (Both manual trannies) two feet, left foot for clutch, duh.

One time I drove my S10 with my left foot for gas and brake because I busted up a couple of my toes on my right foot.

okay, dumb question time. What is a jake brake? I know it'* on semi'* and I thought it was like an emergency type of brake to be used in downhill travelling. If that is the case why would I see it on a flat, open stretch of highway?
