OMG RICE!
ok so i got new neighbours last week and now there are 4 hondas in the driveway all with fart cannons. if i hear them running in and out of the house in the middle of the night i swear im getting the sawzall and taking the fart cannons off so they get noise tickets.

DO IT, DO IT, DO IT.
|
It must be annoying hearing them come and go right outside of your home.
I bet they sit there and rev the engine a few times. I call this Unnecessary Throttling. You know what? Stuff a couple of Potatoes in the inlet instead, rather than cutting them.. I bet its big enough to get some good sized ones up there hehe, and its quieter than a sawzall too!! :D |
Or how about the ricers that sit there and bounce their Civic off the rev limiter after getting a intake so they can hear how "cool" it sounds.
|
If you get those mufflers, throw them all in a box and send them to me. I've made a killing off of selling rice cannons.
Bought one for $10, resold it to some kid for $60. I told him to make me an offer haha. |
My Civic is actually quieter than the Bonneville's "sportier" tuned exhaust. Still sounds like ass though.
fuck fart cannons. |

fart bombs
okay i own a 2000 ssei and a 93 honda civic , i guess im a hybrid or something, i got the honda cause my bonne is a pig on gas but i had no choice but to modify the civic cause the damn thing is gutless, after spending about 1500 it's still gutless but it sounds fast!! and yes it has a fart bomb, don't worry i try my best everyday to blow the honda up, it would be better off.
|
It shouldn't be a pig on gas unless you're driving it really hard. Lots of guys get at least 30mpg highway.

If not ---> :brice: |
I refused to buy a house The Missus really liked because the house next door had 5 or 6 Ricer cars in the driveway. At 2 in the afternoon. I'd have hated to see what the place was like after work or on the weekends.....
And Newfie, not every Honda is Rice, and vice-versa. But you definitely know when it is... ;) |
omg rice
i hear ya, i don't consider myself a ricer cause i drive honda, i just keep tellin myself that i gotta blown bonnie sittin in the driveway just waiten to get out, my woman drives the bonnie to work, so yeah she gets 30 mpg, me i'm lucky if i get 15 mpg lol and the 1500 bucks would have been better off in my bonnie, maybe gen5 m90, intercooler....... ahhhh, stupid honda
|
My buddy spent a little less than $1200 in turbo parts for his civic and runs consistent mid 13's. I hope you chose your modifications wisely.
|
honda
believe me, i am choosing my mods wisely from now on, into the bonnie, no more honda mods, oil change, thats it!. i kinda want the damn thing to blow up so i can have an excuse to get me a truck...
|
I'm sure my neighbors don't like the Honda with a fart can when I start it, but I bet they like it better than my Z28 that set off car alarms it was so loud, lmao.

fart bomb killer
Ok tell me if this would work or not, get some mono foam and a little longer hose and fill the muffler with it. someone tell me. id like to do it to all the guys with gutless old trucks with glass packs, thats another thing that makes me angry like rice noise.
|
If you're talking about spray-foam, I'm not sure what it would do in a muffler. I don't know what it's melting point is.
And I agree with you on the trucks. I had to borrow one with the straight pipes on it, and hated it! I couldn't take the noise. I like a nice, stealthy exhaust myself. No need to advertise your location or plans..... |
As far as the foam in the muffler idea it would work to a certian point, up intell the pressure builds up and breaks it apart, it's not dense enough......that and it depends what kind of muffler, glass pack would be kind of tough cause all it is is a perferated tube with fiberglass insulation wrapped around it. the only reason I know is cause i work in a Cummins muffler factory
