ive never really had any problems with my 3400 alero. there actually a very reliable car, have a few cheaply and easily fixed problems, like all other cars
my alero'* pic is in my sig, sold it last week. it didn't look like a chicks car at all. at first it did a little, but once you drop it and put tint on it, its a very sharp car. beats the GA because GA'* have garbage interiors, were alero'* are very nice for there price market and considering they were released in 99.
oh and intrigues arn't "guys" cars, my gf has one and its lame. interior is a step below the alero'*, intrigues are senior citizen cars, alero'* are for younger crowds
also, that really sweet intrigue posted above.....was never made. they also had a alero that had a very similarly styled body kit, neither body kits were or will be made

The interior is better on the Alero than the Intrigue?? Um... ok? :? The Intrigue is more of a luxury car compared to the Alero. It only makes sense that it'd be a nicer, better built vehicle..
EDIT: after looking at these pictures, don't the interiors look darn near identical besides the steering wheel.

Ah yeah, good stuff guys (and gals)! I'll make sure the brother sees this before he makes this sad mistake. Right now he'* got a decently masculine '92 Grand Prix. Well, maybe masculine is a strong word for it, but it'* at least gender neutral or leaning toward being a guy car.
I'd just hate to see him in something like this...
