the song American Pie was not only a tribut to Buddy Holy but to two other singers (Richie Valens and The Big Bopper ) "The Day The Music Died". also the name of the song is the same as the name of the plane that they were in that crashed and killed them.

Being "an old guy" I figured that I'd do well. I even got the "bonus answer" of the others who also died in that crash. What do I win?

I guess this makes me an old guy too. That means I get to be all crotchetty and stuff and I get to say "back in my day..." and "kids these days just don't know what work is..." and "they don't make things like they used to..." Right?
