Wow, someone put a lot of work in to that. I've seen worse when I'm working at the faire. One guy made a suit out of a garbage can, another out of beer boxes. One guy use beer pull tabs to make chainmaille, and another made platemaille out of license plates.

Weather dudes are always wrong here. Yesterday they scared all the Chicken Little'*. Had us listed for 4-8inches and you guessed it the contractor (double reversing relay) for my ATV winch decided it was done. ATV won't be plowing this storm. Pulled the relic snowblower out of the corner in the shed, it gave me an elderly laugh and wouldn't start either. I'm on shovel duty too Steve, you aren't alone. Now we are downgraded to maybe 1-3 turning to rain by 9-10am.

Now the nice part. I dragged my feet for a couple years on the contractor and knew it was beginning to fail. A love tap or a good whack would always get it rolling. Meanwhile Warn (winch maker) put a recall out on the contractor my winch came with. Free one is 7-10 days away. Meanwhile I cleaned up the contacts at the winch. It'll be ready when the part comes in.

The wife said she had a hard time opening the front door. I don't even want to go outside.

Here is a picture from last night.

And the same shot in the morning.

Kind of deep.

Time to start digging.

This stuff is a little sticky and heavy, you think?

The plowing is not going well.

Got the snow thrower out, it took a long time, but I got it cleared so I can get the truck out, now the plow can get up here.

Stuck the truck over here until the plowing is done.

The dog was having fun.

My back yard, plowing is going slow.

He'* still working his way around to clear out the rest of this.

Still snowing, and the temp is going to drop, this will be fun.
