Were there any type of security cameras around since it was at a country club? This damage falls under comprehensive and most ins. companies don't count those claims against you.

No, no cameras... if he wasn't at meetings then the buliding he usually works at has cameras everywhere. Plus, his spot is almost right outside his window...
I will have to tell him this...
