Oh and folks, if the site is down, please don't call us. Chances are if it goes down, you'll have some explanation for a long downtime, or a perfectly good reason from the Webmaster for short outtages.
That, and site staff can't really do anything about it. Just grin and bear it.

Jeeze. No need IMO to get so frantic when the site goes down. 
Just take a break from the computer for a while.. it'* not going to kill ya. 
If the site'* down when I check it, I just go do something else... not click refresh every few seconds hoping it'll come back up.

Lets look at it this way...
If its down changes are good that one of us do know... There isn't all that much we can do right away to fix it..
In the past I have seen the site down... And a little later I get a Call from Bill W letting me know the Lo Dn on the whole deal...
So there is no point in calling us... We already know
And like stated above.... MNBC is the meeting place in case of a BC meltdown
