let it warm up to room temp before turning it on. Any chance of receiving two for the price of one?

2 would be great, as my parents are getting one soon as well (probably sooner with some good couch time and this). I can't wait to get into my new apartment and set up all my gear, i've been at my parent'* place this summer so I didn't have to rush into the apt searching, and could save up some bill for car downpayment, tv, furniture, savings etc...

The local chain (Ultimate Electronics) had a great deal so I got Bbuy to price match, and their lower service plan cost vs UE didn't hurt either..

for 4" thick, it'* not light Time go fire up some HD Friday night lights i recorded

The Sammy I got has both NTSC (analog) and ATSC (digital) tuners in it, but it is hooked up via HDMI right now to our charter DVR. All I would need is an HD antenna for OTA, but in my apartment I'll definitely have cable with a HD package, and some sort of DVR with my work rotation.

No, Aaron, the 360 isn't hooked up yet... It is the newest gen for plasma with tons of features built in to prevent image retention, but I'm not looking to have halo3 HUD as part of my viewing experience all the time. I am very glad I went with plasma, even on a low brightness/contrast setting, it'* got an AMAZING picture.

I also got the component hookup for my PS2, and Guitar Hero III (360) today as well.

even with all that I always put my Plasma to snow after some hard core gaming.. and and watch your electric bill jump a little with every plasma introduced in to the grid lol. Mine did.

I ran it for an hour on the white fade to black sweep when I was done watching regular television. Kept changing the aspect zoom every 15-20 minutes just to make sure the initial break in had no issues with channel labels, etc...
