Default Oh crap.

It started RAINING about 10 minutes ago. And the concrete/asphalt/ground temps are in the 20'*.

Yup. In 15 minutes, we already have 1/8" of solid ice on everything. It'* going to be an interesting drive to work today.

One mile commute. Going in early to avoid the crazies. I just watched one car go sliding through an intersection half a block away.

Snow forecast for later. With a slick under-coat of ICE.

I'm expecting ice tomorrow here. It'* about 40* here now, but tomorrow is supposed to be in the teens, and it rained yesterday. Should be a nice long commute for me.

Going out to air down the front tires, and head in to work. Wish me luck.

I nearly busted my arse 10 minutes ago when I went out to 'thaw' the car. It was totally encased in ice.

Ohhh I love a good winter rain...
You guys use shale type rock in place of sand and salt on your roads correct?
Hopefully they get out there and lay that stuff down
