Oh crap.
It started RAINING about 10 minutes ago. And the concrete/asphalt/ground temps are in the 20'*.
Yup. In 15 minutes, we already have 1/8" of solid ice on everything. It'* going to be an interesting drive to work today.

i was expecting ice this morning, after rain all day yesterday and cold temps last night, but it didnt get quite cold enough here south of Boston; i hear up north a bit things are pretty icy
One mile commute. Going in early to avoid the crazies. I just watched one car go sliding through an intersection half a block away.
Snow forecast for later. With a slick under-coat of ICE.

Going out to air down the front tires, and head in to work. Wish me luck.
I nearly busted my arse 10 minutes ago when I went out to 'thaw' the car. It was totally encased in ice.

You guys use shale type rock in place of sand and salt on your roads correct?
Hopefully they get out there and lay that stuff down
