Off he goes, into the wild blue yonder

Well, today was the day. My boy just left this morning for Air Force Basic Training.

Kind of a bittersweet moment, I gotta admit. I was excited for his new adventure, proud of the choice he made to serve, but still kinda sad that my boy was leaving.

Bet your a proud father MOS. Is he going to Lackland for basic. I have one younger son who keeps teetering on the idea of enlisting and I wish he'd take the plunge.
Didnt have the attention span for college and I keep telling him thats a good place for some adventure in his life and training to get somewhere besides the muffler shop he works in.
