O u c h ! ! !
I remember reading somewhere that snake venom was being used to treat burns. Unfortunately, Google shows nothing, so I guess you can't just bite yourself and be done with it.
Fortunately, I hear the same medicine that kept you warm all winter should help keep your hand and spirits cool over the next few weeks. Here'* to a speedy recovery.

One of my daughters is a Vet as well and lives in my guest cottage. They work different hours at my wifes clinic so they are taking turns bandaging it every 12 hours. Just got my boat ready for the summer, I'll be able to manage it with with 1 1/2 hands but they say I prolly won't be able to handle the throttle on my bike for 3 weeks. Was going to get it out and cleaned up this week. Guess itz no hurry now.
jesus.... that is horrible.. just get a rubber glove load it with aloe and keep on working. lmao thats what i did when i decided to palm the grill at the restaurant i worked at.. lmfao
Glad you're basically ok. It looks like it'll heal and since your a dog at heart...the vets will be able to fix ya up.
Meanwhile..take away the burn and it looks like your all lubed up and ready for anal probing of a cow or something!
