Unhappy Notice to Windows XP Users-End Of Support!

No more updates/soup for you!- Windows XP End of Support date is April 8th 2014
A notification about the end of Windows XP support

O and Edit: Warning...If you receive a notification though updates as a download..Dont do it!
Uncheck the download box that contain the end of use update, hit close and DO not remind me again later.. should be your course of action!!
Cause my guess is if you download that & then after expiry...every time u start ur computer ur going to get pop ups, to upgrade to Windows 8 BS messages! In task bar & who knows where else!
and of course there is nothing mentioned about that on the link above!

i never liked mac even though they said they are more stable. i used to work at a toshiba office product dealer and we had to install copiers attached to networks and mac'* and pc'* the macs are always a pain to try to get working.

i have been using xp sp3 forever its way stable and way easier to configure. and way faster than the bloatware newer junk. i wont be switching anytime soon even if it is "unsupported"

Yeah, that sucks about xp...vista was crap, 8 seems to...okay for now. What was Mac'* solution to their security issues? Last I heard, they didn't have anything set up for the desktops yet.

I use Windows 8.1, not too bad in my opnion. Win8 was pretty crappy but they fixed a lot of issues. Could always upgrade to Windows 7 though if you don't want 8 at all.

Doesn't that seem backwards? Upgrading to a lower number? Does that mean I can 'upgrade' to 3.1? :P

Have 4 computers in the house....two desktops, and two laptops.....

One desktop is XP......kept it because it played a lot of the old programs, that wouldn't play on the new operating systems.....

They want you to upgrade to windows 8......but most of these old computers are too slow and don't have enough memory to run windows 8......so what they are basically telling you is, to get a new computer.....

Typical Microsoft. Fortunately, the rest of the Internet already tried it out.

Just check "Don't show this message again" and it'* back to life as usual… until April 8, that is.
