I'm not sure I like the bar between the inner and outer tails. If I had his skillz (or whoever mounted them for him) I would have widened the center tail piece

I agree about the gap between the tails. It breaks them up too much. I would have smoked the tails and painted the gap black at least. Lengthening the center would probably be tricky but I agree it would look way better.
