I am reopening this Kevin. Part of Will Wren'* perceived way to run this Forum was to close difficult matters and tell good members to STFU and NM, It'* a Staff matter. I am of the mind that all members make this Forum what it is and deserve to know Staff decisions and what prompted them. And even to allow them to comment on them, as long as it remains civil.

Rico'* randomness and ability to start interesting threads was enjoyed by me as well. He was banned once before for a totally tasteless joke involving/advocating raping children. And this was preceded by some pretty edgy behavior towards the people who volunteer their time and knowledge (that have made this the statically proven best place to find/discuss Bonneville related matters) I lifted the ban after he apologized and admitted the merit in what I did. This was also fueled by people wanting him back.

Since that time, he has hit a few members with his venting and tasteless barbs and kept frequently targeting Staff despite my PM'ing him and civilly offering him guidelines and reminding him that he remains way over the line for a decency standard that must be kept to make members comfortable here and a friendly atmosphere maintained. I suspended him for a week and told him to take the time to reflect on his wanting to be here vs his very insecure need to intimidate. He ignored this and re-registered under a different name. I caught him with software protection that identifies computers as well as IP'*.

I try to work with people and help as much as I can, but this one doesnt understand helpful or friendly. He just doesn't get following rules needed to keep things civil. He doesnt want to be civil. He'* a very insecure misfit and I wont subject this place I have worked so hard to rebuild, with any more of it. I hope all can understand I did all I could to steer him towards acceptable behavior, and the reasons I gave up and once again banned him.

I figured you would as such. it wasn't my place to say what happened and that was the Senior Admins duty and responsibility. I locked it down to save you a place.
