Vibe, vibe and ring, or ring. I can set the mode without opening the phone. I can also set profiles for the phone to change mode automatically if it'* docked at my desk, or docked in my car kit. It knows the difference.

It synch'* with Outlook very well too.

Is there a cost for DC or is it flat rate?

Looking any harder at Nextel yet Haro?
The DC options are all based on the plan you currently have.

I have unlimited night and weekends.
unlimited incoming calls, 500 anytime out going minuetes.
Unlimited DC

upon further review of Nextels website, it looks like most DC plans are unlimited DC.

Now if they offer the camera you want Haro, you're all set If you decide Nextel anyways

heheh, good reasons I suppose. The coolness factor of the "walkie talkie" feature does wear off in time LOL

I've had my own nextel for about a year or so now, but I have had work-issued nextels for about 2 years before my own, and I love it. Plus almost all of my friends that I talk to all the time have nextel, so it pays for itself in the end with the unlimited DC. Only people I really call is my g/f and my parents. So I never go over my min, and plus I get lots of incoming calls, which are free, so it'* really nice to not have to worry about usage.

I had sprint before i had nextel.....sprint sucked *** for me, always dropping calls, half the time someone would call me, and my phone wouldn't ring at all. Service was crappy out by mankato area. I'm sure it'* gotten better, but I don't want it back.
