Default Nissan Maxima impression

While at Minot ND during the last few days I was given a Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE to drive. Usually they’ll give me a 2.5 Altima (those are fairly anemic). I must say I was rather surprised at the Maxima. There were things I didn’t care for, like the limited radio control on the steering wheel and the funky skylights in the roof. But that engine had some go to it. With the traction control off we filled the cabin with 18” tire smoke. The roads were dry and cold, as were the tires, so everything was hard making it easier to break the tires loose. Nevertheless, there was no denying that car had some decent huevos.

And there’* not a curb in Minot it won’t go over.
