Well it took me a couple years, but I finally have another truck. been driving a 2003 Malibu and really needed another truck. I went tonight to pick this truck up. A 1983 Chev pickup. Paid all of 650$. It needs some work, but I hope nothing major.

One thing I know for sure is that I need to change the rear brake lines, as when it was being secured on the truck, we noticed one side started to leak. He may have nudged the line and looking at them, it looks like they are ready to be changed.

Now, send me your driver'* side door. You really don't need it.

Where the cab corner rust? I don't see any. Nice find for 650.

Nice thing is you can usually stick your head through where the floor should be to check for rocker and cab corner rust..

I hope to dig into this truck further within the next few weeks and start to fix it, if it ends up being worth it. So far I got it started no problem, but keeping it running IS the problem. I gotta clean that engine bay really good, and go from there. My guess is that it is carb related and I might just go get a rebuilt unit and throw it on there.

Actually at the going exchange rate, that is more like 1,000$ U.*. Our dollar is kicking *** and is basically on par with the U.*. dollar.hehe
