Wal-Mart apparently announced new store hours. 25 stores across Canada will now be open 24 hours. In Alberta, 1 in Edmonton and 4 in Calgary. This is great news for my rather screwed up sense of day and night!

it depends on the store. there have been 24 hour walmarts around here for as long as i can remember. but some are only open till 11.

Around here all 5 Wal-Mart'* with in 45 miles (no town with a population over 28,000) Wal-Mart'* have been open 24 hrs for the past 10 years almost.

Where do you live? Any of the ones I'm aware of (near where I live) are only open until 22:00. A while ago they were open around the clock, but when they finally forced K-Mart out of the picture they cut the hours way back. Canada doesn't seem to have as many 24 hour businesses as the US.

I'm from minnesota. the nearest one to me is not open 24 hours, but most of the "super walmarts" are.

our new superwalmart is open 24 hrs, a first for our town. but they say it won't stay open 24 hrs after the newness has worn off it is nice having it open 24 hrs though, I've had the need to visit during odd hours

Walmart in a little town of 15,000 people about 30 miles from me. Open 24 hours. Has been since the day it opened 6 years ago.

I shop at Wallys after midnight often. I'm always amazed at how many others do too and how many people lock their keys in the car.... 3 times last year but I was only able to get two going again.

the walmart in my hometown is only open to 11, it switches every other year or so, just depends, the one up in duluth is 24/7, ive made many a late night runs for random stuff.
