Ha Ha... Made me laugh, and think about it for a minute... Vista IS still on this computer... ugh you sparked the desire for me to switch to Linux again lol.

The reason I'm dual booted with PCLOS Linux is Vista.

Ive put Linux on my laptop and my retarded but took forever to get the internet working. Now thats where the concern lies with putting it on the home computer... If I loose it niether computers internet will work lol. I can not stand Vista though... too much bull.

the only difficulty i had was setting up my network, patching my xp machine to show up on the lan was no big deal, gut getting the modded xbox to connect wasnt as easy...

my only real complaint is its use of memmory, which again is no big deal at all and a simple upgrade

I deal all day long with home users with Vista. They have a LOT of problems. Plenty of complaints, and plenty of issues.

These are the same troubles XP had (well, some of them) when it came out in 2001.

This is just the cycle of things. The more patches M$ releases the better it will get.
