i fianlly jumped into the laptop world and im loving it so far.

it came with a remote for the multimedia fetures and anyone have any ideas on how i can hook this thing up to my home reciever and my cd player in my car cuz i have a road trip coming up soon and i wanna put this thing to my car cd player and my home reciever.

I use a wireless hp multimedia receiver that shares all the MP3'* and pics from each computer in the house on the wireless network. You don't need it.

Just get a cig lighter FM modulator for the road, and you're all set.

i have my network to share all my cds but my goal is to play winamp on my big house speakers.

Do you have your TV already piped to the speakers through the amp? If so, you might want to consider a digital media receiver from hp. It'll automaticlly share all the music on all your home pc'* and play it through the tv. Comes with a remote.

ok will it do streaming internet radio to my reciever.

also how clear the audio if i use a fm modulator?

Thats all im about looking for. I use an HP at home.
Im also looking at the Dells that u see in the back of magazines for around 500.00
but I figure after added what you want to it. around 7-800.00 maybe 9
