Default New neon...

I went to the local track last night & was impressed by the new Neon SRT. It was in stock trim other than the exhaust. He just had side outlet for his exhaust, still with cat on though. He kept pulling a consistent 13.7'* all night. Definently didnt expect it to run that strong.

those things are real pocket rockets. how did do traction wise? i would think all that power and low weight = low traction

it'* a combination of careful throttle contorl, and tires that if you are lucky you can find for $250 a piece, and they last maybe 20,000-25,000 miles (this info came from a guy in a SRT-4 that i raced, and yes, i knew my *** would be grass)

He held pretty good with traction. But then again if you know how to come out of the hole, you wont have traction problems on to many cars.
