The ironic thing about that statement is that we fixxed the gas lines on my dad'* F-150 with black electricians tape.

Bubble gum and duct tape Try threading the hole and using a bolt and washer. Thats the difference in Ford and GM fixit engineering.... That said sorry to hear about the bad luck on gas tank sqela.

thanks already replaced the tank with a new one. she'* good as new now

ironic thing is the day before we had to drop the tank on the minivan to replace fuel sensor

If that'* not being owned, I really don't know what is

I'd be worried about the gum coming off the tank.. LOL

hit junkyards for tanks. After that, make a sheetmetal guard and put it over the tank.
