Ok, my laptop'* getting old... It'* almost 2 years old and is starting to get old and crusty
I need something relatively thin and with good battery life. I'd like to keep it around 1500 bucks, but I'd probably go up to 1600. I'm pretty sure I'm getting a Dell XPS M1330, but I wanted to here if anyone else had some opinions. Thanks

You don't want it.

I have an Acer Aspire 3000 with a clicking hard drive and a 4-cell battery that gets you 30 mins of life (if you're lucky

that model had massive problems with dell selling too many and not able to produce enough of them. I think that is fixed now.
thats a pretty sweet one you picked out..Might also want to check the refurbished store to save some money, and also if you decide to buy new, PM me first before you pay

Yeah, I know what you think, but the dell looks 10x cooler IMO than any Mac I've seen, and why the heck would I want to learn a new OS?
Sorry, Vince, not this time

I was hoping they would put a DVI connector on it, but they went with HDMI instead..
I'd reccomend a 7200RPM hdd....everything else does not really matter...base model stuff should be fine.

I was gonna go with 2gbs of ram though (since it ships with, ugh, Vista). But yeah, I was considering Bluetooth and a 7200 rpm hd to go along with it.
