I'm gonna catch what-for for this, but I still don't think that that body style deserves the name GTO, much less The Judge.
To me, and a few I talked to at the Auto Show, it just doesn't have the GTO look to it. Nothing about the body styling stands out like the original GTO did.

kinda like pontiac bonnevilles to lesabre'* and eighty eights? or grand am'* to alero'*, or cavileer'* to berreta'*. or achieva'* to skylarks, or maybe the camry to es300'*, or explorer'* to mountanieers, stealths to 3000gt'*???.......................the list goes on and one, all companies rebadge cars. the g35coupe is the skyline, brought over here, i could go on and on, but why??
point is, the gto stays true with its heritage, a UNDERSTATED powerful rwd muscle car with comfort
its all of those, 10x better "return" than the impalla SS back in 94, but that car someone gained legend status.
people always find a reason to bit**

Output will hover right around 400 horsepower; a six-speed manual will be the only transmission offering. Also look for quad exhausts--two extending from each rear corner or possibly even two pipes running along each side. Wheels and tires will likely grow in size to 18 inches; the suspension will also receive stiffer, more aggressive tuning.
Cosmetic changes likely will include a racier cockpit, a larger rear wing, and probably a hood scoop. Misty-eyed nostalgic types on our staff are also predicting flashy graphics and, with luck, an Orbit Orange paint job to match the original Judge'*.
Look for the high-output model to account for roughly 10 percent of GTO volume--say, 2000 cars a year or so. In all likelihood, Pontiac won't use the GTO Judge name. But to us, it sure sounds a lot better than "GTO Plaintiff."

A few things...
Willwren -
Every single GTO is imported fully completed, on frieghters over the pacific. They come in small batches. The short time it went from concept to production was spend on altering the fuel tank, exhaust, and some of hte bumper/light issues. The Holden Monaro GTO SV (yes it has GTO badges by the rear wheels) Bumper is much more like an Evos', but not as angular, it'* a very nice machine, the only real issue is the rear wheel hop.
MOS95B -
Just like told you at the show, the originals were just normal tempests with some slight modifications on the outside. Ditto in '04, old fart.
NONE of those pictures are real, they're just other people'* ideas.

I've loved Holden Commordores and the Monaro'* since I first saw them on car domain.. I actually thought about going to austrailia just to see one.. and a skyline :?
When pontiac introduced the GTO (Holden Americanized) I almost crapped myself.. It'* sooooo sexy. And trust me, with hood scoops/ram air hoods, these cars look badass.

As for the skyline to G35, it is not a skyline but the engine of the G35 is a DECENDANT of the skyline engine.
