Yay!! I finally got a new job. I had a job during the school year that absolutely sucked, i was getting 4 hours a week with minimum wage, which is 5.15. So i started looking for a different job. Talked to the City Hall, got a temporary position as MIS Aide, that lasted 2 weeks, they didn't have funding to keep me staffed. So i have been unemployed since about June 1st. I have been hunting ever since. Finally my Dad talked to his boss about the summer positions they have at his place of work. The boss just ignored him and hired two different people, one of them didn't work out so he was in a crunch and called me. I had the interview last Wednesday. And today i got the call, i got the job! I am going to be the Groundskeeping Technician for Alpena Regional Medical Center, which means i cut the grass at the hospital. It pays 6.00 an hour and i get 40 hours a week. And they work around my college schedule and they are very easy for vacation. I start July 6th I am happy! Finally going to have a paycheck. Which means mods for the bonn! First up is installing the spoiler, then tires, then probably tint. Just thought i would share the good news.

Isn't the federal minimum wage $6.75/hr soon to be $7.15?

well i know the minimum wage in Michigan is 5.15 i did hear that they are trying to raise it but i dont know if its happining in MI
