Well I didn't say I'd be buying a Mac anytime soon
They are hawt and their specs have gotten better over the years, but I have neither the money nor the use for one (I have two PCs at the moment). I will be looking at a laptop in the next few months, though, and I will be looking at the powerbooks. I wouldn't say I'm fully converted yet, but I am mac-curious

They are awesome especially the 17' 1920X1200 Display
And Shadow all depends on what you buy. Mac book pros are pretty difficult to upgrade which is a laptop. IMacs are pretty easy with hardrives and ram anything else good luck. My Mac Pro is soooooo freaking easy to put in extra ram or harddrives, videocards and such. The harddrives is just a push in pull out thing no hooking up of cables at all. Right now I have 4 harddrives in my computer and I constantly swap and store them as they get filled.

Yep, the tower Macs are easily upgradeable. It'* just like any PC. But most Macs don't need upgrading if you buy one that suits your needs. At most slap in some more RAM or a HD and you're good to go.
I don't think that'* obviously true. Some people just like 2 mouse buttons (or 3 or 4, or do Macs have more buttons now?) and windows better.
I can't imagine trying to run any CAD program without at least 2 mouse buttons and a scroll wheel.
