my best friend test drove one of the manual trans ones in memphis the other day and said that they are superfast and ride nice for a sports car. he also drove a new charger and loved it as well, but not as well as the old chargers!!

It'* certainly not a sports car, but a sporty coupe is a good choice

Glad to see they have decent power again. 205 HP was crappy in the old ones...

The new Eclipse weighs in @ 3200 to 3500lbs...... pretty hefty.....
But the 1/4 mile is decent at 14.5.......

Stock on the 1/4 it'* better then the Cobalt SS and Redline....... but it'* still got nothing on the SRT-4.

How would you define a sports car? $50k and above.... use the Corvette as the benchmark...... or anything that runs the 1/4 in under 14.0?

While I'll agree it'* not a record breaking sports car by any means, I think it'* just on the side of "sports" car rather then "sporty" car line. The 4cyl model is definately a "sporty looking" car.... but I think the V6 earns it'* "sports" car title..... just barely.

Yeah, what really makes it a "girls car"?
