I agree the Goat is a refined car. However, a live axle is cheaper, more reliable, and a better suited to the drag strip. And, Car and Driver says that the Mustang rides nearly as well as a GTO ( http://www.caranddriver.com/article....rticle_id=8908 ). It all boils down to if you want to autocross (IRS) or drag (live axle).
Just food for thought.......
