Default new desk!!!

im a graphic designer at a smalltime shop in a smalltime town... i have worked there 1.5 yrs now.... love it and hate it at the same time...

we have several g5'*, one g4 and one g3...

today the boss tells me to package up the g3 cuz its going in the trash... i was like ugh...

it was 87* in the shop today

then he tells me he is getting it out of there to make room for MY NEW DESK!!!

i was working with something like this http://www.ucsc.edu/matman/SurplusPictures/Desk.JPG

i spent all day setting it up and rearraning the computers and redoing the network... now i got a workstation like this!

Nice! That'* a huge upgrade. I know how you feel Haro. I was a designer back in Syracuse for a company that I loved and hated too. We had a couple G5'*, and the rest were G4'* (eMacs). My desk was similar to that first one you had but a "L" shape. Now I am a designer in CT and my workspace is awesome! Huge desk, a whole 300 sq. foot room for myself and the other designer, and my own Powerbook G4.

I think it helps to have a nice comfortable workspace if you're in this field. Congrats!!
