The vette needs the popup headlights, they might as well take away the tail lights, and the whole shape if they're doing that.

I'm also glad they got rid of the pop-up headlights, I think the new front end looks much better IMO.

yep the Z06 went on hiatus(sp?) for this year but it will return next year. the new corvette will have the same specs as last years Z06. 405 in HP If i could rob a bank and get away with it. that vehicle will eb sitting in my driveway

no thanks... vettes had hideaway headlights for 4/5ths its life... the lines loo ugly.. being that there sharper... a vette is smooth, and whats with the viper front clip?

First of all destroying heritage by getting rid of the pop-up headlights has RUINED the corvette symbol. Wow, lets be like everyone else. Look like a 360 spider from the front. Not to MENTION, use a larger displacement engine with LESS HP than the previous gen.......lets give a big clap to GM.........I hate where there going F*CK them.....

Z06 or not, its less displacement, and still N/A.

First they take away our FBody, then they make the 2004 GP'* SLOWER than the previous gen. Now they make less power out of a larger displacement engine, for there flagship sports coupe.

Ill never buy a new GM car, it will always be before 1999 for me.......

so 05s getting 6.6 eh??? duramax? lol... I wish... that puppy would produce some power thoughwith a good chip, and nitro/propane/adding another turbo... 1000hp with atleast twice as much torque... lol.. fitting that under the hood might be a problem

When I first saw "The Car Carrier" commercial I thought it was a new Dodge Commercial. The new Vette looks too much like a Viper in the front. And I agree the pop-up headlights have got to be available for it to be a real Vette.

The base vette will be around 400 HP, and MUCH more torque then the z06. It should be lighter and faster, and stiffer.

The z06 will return with 500 HP, mainly because of the newer viper engine. Don't compare apples to oranges witht he z06 to the c6 base.

People dont buy corvettes for their smooth and quiet ride! They want power!!! Give the people what they want!!!
