I was flipping thru an old car book from 1987...and it had a section on concept cars, its amazing how car companies introduce a style and "tone it down" a bit to make it road worthy

The one that gets me still is that Prowler...

Most of the time I wish the auto companies would stick to the original concept. Sometimes they will keep the exterior the same, but really water down the interior. When they do that they only hamper the design process GGGGRRRR!!!

I agree with you, CG, I usually like the concept car better. It makes you think that they are giving you and inferior model, almost. I would rather that they either never show us the concept car, because then we are dissappointed with the real thing, or that they do not "water down" the concept car.
