Totally agree, though I was referring to Samsung'* line of anti-glare plasma'* (not as good as the Pana'*, but the picture'* better).

What are you doing for your surround and center channels?

Both are rated @ 60,000 hrs service life by all the major manufacturers. Plasmas are rated to be half as bright by 60k, while LCDs are rated to be "un-usable" by then.

It'* a LONG *** time either way, longer than avg life, or old CRT'* for that matter.

As for stepping up to 5.1, i'l prob get the new B&W Center with the FST driver (cost as much as my mains did) and some 600 series small ones for surrounds so I have a matching set. I might even get more to run into the bedroom off zone 2.

These monoprice cables are scary, i got the huge ones, with metal jacket, haven't had an issue with them yet running pass through on the Onkyo.
